Verbena Revisited

Before I get into the verbena I'd like to say thank you for all the wonderful comments on the merino/silk scarf. Looks like some of you got weak and ordered some of this yummy fiber for yourself. I'l love to see what you do with it.

Now for the verbena.

The last time you saw this sock it looked like the second picture. It was on it's way to being a very popular jaywalker. It actually made it all the way to the toe before the knitter made a crappy mess of the whole thing. It languished in time out for a couple of months before making the trip to the frog pond. After it recovered we had a long talk and it said it wanted to start a new life with a picot edge and good old standby stocking stitch. The sock was finished last night while watching Peyton and Eli duel on the the football field. By the way, my fantasy team, The Alpacas, is doing pretty good. I have one more player scheduled to hit the field tonight. They probably won't win the week but should finish nearer the top than the bottom.

Hopefully by this time next week the sock will be a pair.

There's too many Jaywalkers in the world anyway. ;)

My package with silk should arrive any day now!
